Kelevra public page
Your data and privacy rights
Short version
You can ask Kelevra what personal information we hold about you.
You can ask us to correct it.
You can ask us to delete it where deletion is lawful.
Deletion is not always the same as account closure. Some records must be kept for legal, tax, accounting, audit, security, dispute, or regulatory reasons.
This page is intended to support Kelevra's duties under POPIA and related South African access-to-information rules.
When to use this page
Use this page if you want to:
- ask what personal information Kelevra holds about you;
- ask for a copy;
- ask us to correct something;
- ask us to delete something;
- object to a use of your information;
- ask who we shared your information with;
- close a Kelevra-controlled contact or messaging relationship where closure is available.
This page is also the URL Kelevra may use for Meta's "user data deletion" field.
Two different requests
There are two common requests:
- Stop or close a Kelevra-controlled contact channel. For example, you want Kelevra to stop using your WhatsApp number for company messages.
- Make a statutory data request. For example, you want access to your personal information, a correction, or deletion where deletion is lawful.
Tell us which one you mean. If you are not sure, say that and we will help classify the request.
Before you send a request
Kelevra must make sure the request really comes from you or from someone allowed to act for you.
We may ask for information that proves your identity. We will not ask for more proof than we need.
Do not send full identity documents by ordinary email unless we ask for them and give you a secure route.
How to make a request
Send an email to hello@kelevra.com.
Use the subject: Data request
Tell us:
- your name;
- the email address or phone number you used with Kelevra;
- what you want us to do;
- whether your request relates to website, WhatsApp, email, Meta app, a contract, or another channel;
- any reference number you have.
What happens next
We will:
- acknowledge the request;
- check whether we need to verify identity;
- look for information in the systems relevant to your request;
- decide what we can lawfully do;
- explain the result in plain English.
If we cannot do what you asked, we will explain why.
Response timing: We aim to respond within 30 business days, unless the law allows an extension. If we need more time, we will tell you.
Fees: Kelevra may charge a lawful, reasonable fee only where the law allows it. If a fee applies, we will tell you before processing the request.
Deletion
If deletion is lawful and technically possible, we will delete or de-identify the information.
If we must keep some information, we will keep only what we need and explain the reason.
Examples of information we may need to keep:
- contract records;
- invoices and tax records;
- audit logs;
- security logs;
- records needed to defend or bring legal claims;
- records needed to meet regulatory duties;
- records that belong to a tenant's insurance relationship rather than to Kelevra's own company channels.
For Meta app review, this page is Kelevra's deletion-instructions page. A deletion request should say:
Delete my Kelevra data;- the email address or phone number you used;
- whether the request relates to WhatsApp, email, the website, or another channel.
Kelevra will then verify identity, identify the relevant Kelevra-controlled records, delete or remove identifying details where lawful, and explain any records that must be retained.
Tenant data
Axiom is infrastructure used by tenants.
If your request relates to an insurer, administrator, employer, broker, provider, or other tenant using Axiom, that tenant may be the party responsible for your information.
Kelevra cannot pretend to own tenant data. We may need to refer you to the tenant or work with the tenant under the contract that applies.
Kelevra does not access, use, or change tenant business data except as instructed by the tenant or required by law.
WhatsApp and Meta data
If you messaged Kelevra on WhatsApp, we may hold message content, contact details, message metadata, delivery status, replies, and attachments.
Meta may also hold platform data under its own terms and privacy notices.
Kelevra can handle the data it controls. We cannot delete data held only by Meta, your phone provider, or your own device.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our answer, tell us first so we can review it.

PAIA
PAIA gives people a way to request access to records.
Kelevra is preparing its PAIA manual.
Until it is published, send PAIA requests to hello@kelevra.com and we will route them manually.
