Privacy Notice

Version 0.1 · Updated 2026-07-10

Short version

Kelevra collects only the personal information it needs to run the company, answer messages, operate Axiom, and meet legal duties.

We do not sell personal information.

We may process messages with automated and AI-assisted routing and support tools so we can route, answer, audit, and protect the channel. We do not use customer messages to train public foundation models.

We do not pretend that legal duties disappear when someone asks us to delete data. Some records must be kept for a lawful reason.

Why we use it

We use personal information to:

  • answer you;
  • run our WhatsApp, email, and website channels;
  • manage business relationships;
  • prepare and manage contracts;
  • operate, secure, and improve Kelevra's systems;
  • investigate abuse, fraud, security issues, and service problems;
  • keep records we are legally required to keep;

The lawful reason depends on the situation. In plain English, we use information when:

  • you asked us to contact you or answer you;

  • the law requires us to keep or use it;
  • we need it to secure our systems, prevent abuse, or keep audit records;

WhatsApp and Meta

If you message Kelevra on WhatsApp, Meta processes parts of that interaction as the WhatsApp platform provider. Meta may also process platform data for its own purposes under its own terms and privacy notices.

Kelevra may receive your WhatsApp profile name, phone number, message content, message metadata, delivery and read events, replies, attachments, and interaction status.

We use this information to receive and answer your message, route it with Kelevra's automated and AI-assisted support tools, keep an audit trail, and protect the channel from abuse. This may include processing message content with AI service providers so Kelevra can help answer or route the message.

We do not publish your WhatsApp messages.

We do not add you to marketing lists just because you messaged us.

Who we share information with

We share information only where there is a real reason. This may include:

  • service providers that host, secure, route, or monitor our systems;
  • Meta and WhatsApp when you use WhatsApp;
  • email, identity, logging, observability, and infrastructure providers;
  • professional advisers;
  • regulators, courts, law enforcement, or public bodies where the law requires it;

We use service providers under terms that should limit their use of personal information to the agreed service.

Where information is processed

Kelevra is based in South Africa.

Some providers may process information outside South Africa. This can include Meta, WhatsApp, hosting providers, email providers, security providers, and AI service providers. When that happens, Kelevra must use lawful transfer and protection measures.
